Jean Hirons is a Maryland-based artist using pastels to capture the beauty of the countryside. Landscapes are her passion, captured en plein air when possible. Her work represents not only the local area, but other parts of the United States and Europe.
Jean is represented by: Waverly Street Gallery in Bethesda, MD, Gallery 65 in McLean, VA, and Rogers Gallery in her hometown of Mattapoisett, MA. She has a studio and teaches classes at the Capitol Arts Network in Rockville, MD. Jean also conducts two or three-day workshops at her studio and other locations.
