Jean's next show, "Shore Houses", will be at Waverly Street Gallery in Bethesda, MD, April 2011.

Classes and Workshops

Sept 30-Oct 2, Westport, MA. Jean will give a three-day workshop sponsored by the Westport Art Group.

Sept-Oct. On Fridays, weather permitting, Jean will give a plein air class in various locations in or near Bethesda. For information, contact her.

Jean teaches a course in pastel during the fall and spring semesters at Montgomery College, Rockville Campus. For more information, contact her.

Jean will provide individual instruction in her studio. A one-day class, 10-4, is $120.

Juried Exhibitions

"House by the Tracks" was accepted for the 2010 Pastel Society of America national exhibition in New York City.

"House on Deer Isle" and "Quiet Watch" (at right) were selected for inclusion in the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod's 2010 national juried exhibition. "House on Deer Isle" won the Award of Honor, one of the top three awards. "House on Deer Isle" also won third place in the Maryland Pastel Society's first web show.

"Yellow House in Winter" and "Shore Houses" were selected for inclusion in the Pastel Society of the West Coast's 2010 national juried exhibition. "Yellow House in Winter" won the University Art Award.
